Follow these simple steps before you proceed…..
- Wet the hands thoroughly by opening the tap, either cold or lukewarm water is enough. Make sure your hands are wet and your hands are away from the surfaces of the sink. In case you come in contact with any surface of the sink, repeat from the start. Close the tap and apply soap. 3-5ml of an antiseptic soap solution can be applied evenly.
- Lather thoroughly both front and back sides of the hand, thumbs, underneath your nails, in between your fingers and your knuckles.
- Scrub it for a minimum of 20secs and rinse under clear running water.
- Dry hands using a clean towel. Disposable tissues/napkins should be safely discarded in closed bins.
- Care should be taken not to recontaminate your hands by either using a towel to turn off water/ automatic turn off methods.
